| Mission Statement The purpose of the club is to connect colored Boston Terrier fanciers across the United States, as well as Internationally. This club is focusing on sharing knowledge, education, and other supportive resources for both pet owners and breeders. It is here to promote friendship and camaraderie while everyone shares in the enjoyment of the breed. Why do I want to be a member of the ACBTC? If you have a significant interest in the Boston Terrier breed, membership should be considered. There is FINALLY a club that combines both Boston Terriers and color. As a member you will receive a bi-monthly newsletter filled with facts, helpful tips about your Boston, and questions answered from fanciers/owners. The All Color Boston Terrier Club will be the official national club for the United Canine Association (working out all of the technicalities and paperwork involved in such a feat). The UCA has recently recognized the 'Colored Boston Terrier'. They will open up many doors for our Colored BTs. It is a huge step in the right direction! _______________________________________________________________________ **UPDATE June 2, 2008** The All Color Boston Terrier Club will sponsor the FIRST EVER Colored Boston Terrier Specialty Conformation Show, held by the Hill Country Bulldoggue Club for the IOEBA/UCA. This show will take place in November. This is a huge event! All participants MUST be registered with the United Canine Association. Again, contact us for information in registering your CBT's with the United Canine Association. This club is here for you, the Boston Terrier fancier, and you have an input as to what it should achieve. The club is for all color Boston Terrier lovers. It is neither discriminating nor judgemental. The club wants you to be proud to say, "I am a member of the ALL COLOR BOSTON TERRIER CLUB." How do I become a member? To become a member you need to complete a membership form, click HERE, or find the link below. You need not even own a Boston Terrier, just share the love for the breed. The membership fee for the 2008 calendar year is $10. This may be paid with either cash or a money order. Remember that this club is non-profit and all fees are used strictly for club purposes. Membership in the club is annual, from January 1 of the calendar year to December 31. No matter what part of the year someone becomes a member, membership fees for the following year are due by December 31, confirmed by postmark received by the club. If a new member joins the club after November 31st, those fees are put towards membership for the following year. Again the envelope must be received postmarked as such. A notice will be mailed out for renewal of membership the first week in December. Members receive a discounted renewal rate. By becoming a member today you are in no way committed to having to renew your membership for the 2009 year. At any time you may cancel your membership, however, fees will not be reimbursed. The club does reserve the right to refuse membership to any applicant without explanation. In the event the membership is refused the fee will be returned to the applicant. All fees collected through membership or matches are strictly used for the club. The decisions of how fees are to be used are made by the club. For example, the fees assist in the printing and mailing of the newsletters that are sent across the United States or Internationally. As the club grows, the activities will grow. Remember, this is a newly forming club and it appreciates your patience. The All Color Boston Terrier Club is in NO WAY affiliated with the Boston Terrier Club of America.
